Sony Ericcson Raw Sessions kick off tonight 11.25 pm

The Sony Ericssson Raw Sessions kicks off tonight - at 11.25pm - and sees R.S.A.G and Sweet Jane create two original songs for viewers to download from www.therawsessions.ie

The new music series features eight unsigned but hotly tipped Irish music acts write, record and mix an original song in front of the cameras in 12 hours or less. Viewers can vote for their favourite song and by downloading it can help the artists of the week into the Irish charts.

Presented by recording artist, actor and producer Dez Ryan, the eight-week series will feature independent artists Majella Murphy, Rarely Seen Above Ground (RSAG), Sickboy, Noise Control, Dirty Epics, Hoarsebox, Infomatics and Sweet Jane - one of whom will become the "Sony Ericsson Artist of the Year".
