Skyn Deep to support Gareth Gates' UK jaunt
All-girl Irish trio Skyn Deep will strut their stuff alongside Gareth Gates
Dublin girl band Skyn Deep are set to play to over 90,000 people after being invited on to Gareth Gates' UK arena tour.
The trio, who scored a top 20 Irish hit last year with 'A Matter Of Time', will be the only support when the Pop Idol visits the Glasgow SECC (February 28); Birmingham NEC (29); Sheffield Arena (March 2); Newcastle Arena (3); Manchester MEN Arena (4); and Wembley Arena (6).
It appears that the band have a champion in John Giddings, the European Director of Clear Channel Entertainment who are promoting the shows. One of the most powerful men in the UK music industry, Giddings has also been closely associated with U2, Madonna, The Rolling Stones and The Corrs.
Currently unsigned, Skyn Deep are likely to be the subject of intense A&R scrutiny as the trek progresses.
