Skip Marley has released a reimagination of 'One Love' by The Wailers. The song honours his grandfather Bob Marley, as well as other family members.
The cover arrives alongside the adidas Bob Marley Collection of off-pitch apparel for players and fans. Created in collaboration with the Bob Marley Foundation, the collection draws from archival photographs and historically significant garments worn by the artist.
"‘One Love’ has always belonged to the people," said Skip.
"My grandfather’s music continues to uplift and inspire people to stand for something greater than themselves. That message still moves the world today," he added.
The music video was filmed in Kingston, Jamaica and features the Bob Marley founded Tuff Gong Studio.
In 2020, Skip released 'Higher Place', which earned a GRAMMY award nomination for the Best Reggae Album. The same year, his single 'Slow Down', featuring H.E.R. also received a nomination for Best R&B Song.
Last year, Skip dropped 'In Our Sight' nominated to the 2026 NAACP Image Award for Best International Song. In 2024, he shared a cover of Exodus (Bob Marley: One Love - Music Inspired By The Film), which accompanied the release of Bob Marley: One Love biopic.
