Julian Marley announces Dublin and Belfast shows
The gigs are part of a wider European tour this summer
Julian Marley has announced two Irish gigs for the end of July.
The son of reggae icon Bob Marley will perform at the Limelight 2 in Belfast on July 29 and at the The Academy in Dublin on July 30.
The dates form part of a wider run of shows across the UK and France. The musician is also scheduled to appear at the Summerjam Festival and Reggae Land festivals.
Marley grew up surrounded by a wide range of musical influences and released his debut album, Lion in the Morning, in 1996, which brought him international attention and led to his first international tour. He also contributed to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill, an album that went on to win multiple Grammy Awards.
Marley won his own Grammy Awards in 2024 for the collaborative project Colors of Royal with Antaeus. His most recent solo album, As I Am, was released in 2019.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 29, at 10am and will be available here.
