Saccade win first JD Set heat in Cork
Next up are the Dublin and Limerick heats.
Dublin quartet Saccade fought off stiff competition from Mullingar’s We Go Go and local heroes Fingersmith and Stone Throwing Youth to win the Cork heat of The JD Set. You can read Jackie Hayden’s ringside report in our new issue out on Thursday.
Their set included new single ‘See How They Fly’, which is out on February 28 and finds the chaps heading out on nationwide tour. www.myspace.com/saccade has the full list of gigs.
The JD Set action now switches to Whelan’s, Dublin (February 26) where The Dirty 9s, Lady Doll, Mail Order Messiahs and Cutaways will be duking it out, and Dolan’s, Limerick (March 5) where Liz Is Evil, Redtwelve, Macrogrizzly and Henrietta Game will be vying for a place in April 29’s Grand Final in the Dublin Village.
