Roy Ayers to play Cork and Dublin

Roy Ayers does his legendary jazz funk thing at the Half Moon, Cork (April 5) and Village, Dublin (6).

The American will be drawing on all phases of a 40 year, 60 album career that has seen him sampled by everyone from Public Enemy and NWA to Mos Def and DJ Shadow.

More immediately comes the release of Virgin Ubiquity, a 13-track rarities collection spanning 1976-1981.
