British rapper Roots Manuva is among the artists announced in the Oxegen dance tent line-up to date, with Erick Morillo, Mylo, Slam, Black Strobe and Sillicone Soul also on board.

A bona fide son of a preacher man, Roots Manuva (real name Rodney Smith), is one of the most intelligent and exciting artists working under the hip hop umbrella.

Having just released his new album Awfully Deep - the long awaited follow up to his Mercury-nominated Run Come Save Me (2001) - Roots Manuva is back on the map in a very big way.
