Regina Spektor is Dublin-bound
Regina Spektor makes a bee-line for Dublin this February, along with a few others.
Regina Spektor underlines her ‘next big thing’ status with a February 9 visit to Whelan’s, Dublin.
Originally from Moscow, Spektor moved with the rest of her family to New York in the early ‘90’s and quickly gravitated towards the city’s anti-folk scene.
Expect to hear a song or three from Soviet Kitsch, her sophamore album, which nods towards the likes of Tori Amos and Fiona Apple.
Also confirming upcoming visits to the capital are Broken Social Scene (February 11 @ Crawdaddy); Jason Mraz (14 @ Whelan’s); Damien Marley (28 @ the Olympia); and Against Me (March 10 @ the Temple Bar Music Centre).
