Pixie Saytar, Panda Kopanda and more for Belfast gig
Furious Tradesmen present a four band 'extravaganza of joy' in Belfast this month, with New York native Pixie Saytar and Belfast acts Panda Kopanda, Three Tales and Heliopause.
Belfast's Furious Tradesmen label have gathered four of the city's hottest indie acts for an exciting showcase gig this month.
New York's Pixie Saytar, currently based in Belfast, tops the bill, supported by Belfast bands Three Tales, Panda Kopanda and Heliopause.
The smooth-voiced Pixie has earned praise from Stuart Bailie on BBC's Across The Line programme, who compared her to PJ Harvey and Sinead O'Connor (we're leaning towards the former ourselves). Catch her playing some new songs after a bit of a break from gigging her The White Book debut.
The Belfast contingent have much to plug, meanwhile, with Three Tales set to perform new material alongside tracks from their self-titled debut, released last year; Panda Kopanda previewing their debut album This Hope Will Kill Us, out in January; and Heliopause – featuring Therese McKenna from Party Weirdo – launching their new Dark Matter EP.
Catch Pixie Saytar, Heliopause, Panda Kopanda and Three Tales live at the Pavilion Bar, Belfast on November 19. Tickets are £5, on sale now.
