Phil Neville - Twitter phenomenon!
The Everton captain (interviewed in the new issue of Hot Press) has become something of an online hero...
English footballer Phil Neville is definitely having a good week. Not only is Everton's captain interviewed in the new issue of Hot Press (out today), he has also gone positively viral on social networking site Twitter!
Everton fans decided to make Neville the most talked about footballer in the world, and it seems other tweeters soon followed suit. The Sun reports that tweets concerning Neville outnumbered those about Barack Obama and the midterm elections in America on Wednesday.
The tweets paid tongue-in-cheek homage to the footballer, with claims like: "Phil Neville doesn't use the force ... he is the force!"
Hot Press, (always ahead of the game!) interviewed Neville for our latest issue. In an in-depth conversation with die-hard Everton fan Stuart Clark, the team's captain talks about Roy Keane, Seamus Coleman, Wayne Rooney, the Airtricity League and much more. Read the whole thing in the new issue (Lady GaGa on cover), out now!
