Pete Doherty embarks on Irish tour
After his successful performance at Leeds Festival, Doherty is now set to play Dublin, Derry and Belfast next week.
Peter Doherty made his first 2011 festival appearance playing the Festival Republic Stage at Leeds Festival, playing a host of mainly new material. Peter also paid tribute to his dear friend, Amy Winehouse, playing a cover of 'Tears dry on their own'.
Last May he had to cancel his Irish shows following a jail sentence for cocaine possession. His rescheduled gigs will now take place on the following days:
The Academy, Dublin: September 14 (€28)
Nerve Centre, Derry: September 15 (£22)
Mandela Hall, Belfast: September 16 (£23.50)
Tickets are on sale from [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link] and Ticketmaster outlets. All original tickets held from the postponed May shows remain valid.
