After weeks of speculation, we can finally confirm that legendary grungesters Pearl Jam are returning to Ireland after a six-year absence.
They'll be playing The Point Depot in Dublin on August 23, which has been the venue of choice for two of the three times they've visited before.
By that date, fans should know their new, self-titled word-perfect, as it comes out on April 28. The release is set to sit comfortably alongside their other seven albums, including the seminal album Ten from 1991. You know, the one with 'Jeremy' and 'Alive' on it.
Of the new album, guitarist Stone Gossard said: "This record feels like a coming together again in terms of accepting our natural strengths and also incorporating the best of our experiments."
Tickets for the gig go on sale on Saturday 29 April, and are limited to four per person.
