Organized Confusion win 2fm School Of Rock
Derry foursome Organized Confusion have won the first ever 2fm School Of Rock competition.
Punky Derry metallers Organized Confusion are considerably better off than they were before the weekend having won the inaugural 2fm School Of Rock competition.
They beat off stiff competition from Silkeborg, KVX, Silver Circus and Cronus whose performances were all broadcast live to the nation from Radio Centre.
According to Hot Press’ Stuart Clark who was one of the judges: “There was a real swagger to their performance, and the song they played had a huge Green Day-style chorus, which two days later I’m still humming.”
Along with the €5,000 Walton’s Music Shop voucher they were presented with on the night, Niall Doherty, Ben Barber, Ryan McGroarty and Kieran Doyle will over the next few months be getting five days recording time in Pulse Studios, a professional photo-shoot, a DAB digital radio each, a Hot Press interview and an award for their school which is the extremely rock ‘n’ roll Lumen Christi College.
