New Gorillaz album in the pipeline

Blur's successful comeback has encouraged Albarn to start building on his first Gorillaz project in four years. Albarn told ABC news in Australia that ""I'm starting recording in September for a new Gorillaz record."I'd love to just get back in to that routine of being at home and coming to the studio five days a week"

This follows Gorillaz artist Jamie Hewlett's Instagram post in January featuring the animated band, captioned 'Yes Gorrilaz Returns'.
