MTV shows off Oxegen highlights

MTV are preparing to bring viewers over 90 hours of exclusive footage from 2009's Oxegen festival in the form of 'Oxegen Weekend', which will broadcast over the weekend from Friday July 31 to Sunday, August 2.

The biggest live music weekend of the year will dominate the airwaves over the three days, with recorded live performances from the likes of The Killers, Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Lily Allen (pictured live at Oxegen) and Blur. There'll also be a multitude of interviews and live sessions by artists such as Little Boots, The Noisettes and The Saturdays.

Coverage of the weekend will be spread over the MTV, MTV HITS, MTV TWO and VH1 channels over the weekend. For times and dates of the airing of particular sets and shows, check out the Hot Press Festival New blog.

Oxegen is set to return to Punchardstown Racecourse, Naas, Co. Kildare on 9-11 July 2010, subject to license.
