Moby attacked by three unknown assailants in Boston
Musician/producer is assaulted following club gig. "I really had no idea what was going on"
Hot Press cover star and all round nice bloke Moby has been assaulted by three men in a Boston car park.
The incident occurred on Wednesday December 11 as the star was signing autographs after a small club gig. According to a personal statement on his website, he was punched from behind and attacked with mace.
"After the show I went outside to get into my car and there were a few people waiting for autographs, so as usual I stopped to sign a few things," he says. "Then all of a sudden I was attacked by (I believe) 3 men with mace. They punched me from behind and I really had no idea what was going on."
"After being punched in the head from behind a few times I turned around to see what was going on and one of them punched me in the face a couple of times and then they all ran away," he adds. "So now I'm sitting here bloody and beaten up and waiting to file a police report."
