Mobile invade Dublin
The Canadian band explosion continues with Montreal quintet Mobile making their Dublin debut.
Formerly known as Moonraker, they’ve been together for 15 years and admit to “fitting in” with the likes of Hot Hot Heat, Franz Ferdinand and The Killers.
“We’re different from them though,” insists bassist Dominic Viola. “We’re a little bit more rock, a little bit more pop, and a little more modern.”
You can judge for yourself in a couple of weeks when they release their first major label album, Tomorrow Starts Today. Or, alternatively, head to Whelan's on March 21 for a live show.
