Fresh from releasing must-have compilation Definitive Lisdoonvarna, Donal Lunny collaborates with Sharon Shannon on Irish-language track 'My Palestine'
Barely pausing to acknowledge the plaudits for his Definitive Lisdoonvarna compilation, Donal Lunny is working on an Irish language number with Sharon Shannon called 'My Palestine'.
"I think it's a lovely song," Lunny says of the Treasa el-Safti composition, "and it reflects on an issue that's really important. It's not just a rock track, but more acoustic with double-bass and percussion. The song just grew organically, like finding your way through a path of tall grass."

Also featured on the track are drummer Danny Byrt and bass-player Damien Evans.
