Miami Showband tribute for Vicar St.
A host of top showband performers convene at Dublin's Vicar St for one night only
Expect the “house full” signs to go up early on August 1 as Vicar St., Dublin plays host to a special Miami Showband tribute.
Timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Fran O’Toole, Brian McCoy and Tony Geraghty’s deaths at the hands of the Ulster Volunteer Force.
The line-up of friends and musical colleagues includes Brendan Bowyer, Red Hurley, Tony Kenny, The Memories, The Indians, Johnny Fean, Sean O’Dowd (The Sounds), The Conquerors, Pat Lynch (Airchords), John Keogh (Green Beats), Brendan O’Brien (Dixies), Declan Ryan (Arrivals), Kelly (Nevada), Ronan Collins, The Strangers, Bobby Kelly (Chosen Few), Ronnie Drew and Des Lee, Steve Travers and Paul Ashford (Miami).
Tickets priced €27.50 are on sale now with all proceeds going to the construction of a permanent memorial to the murdered trio.
