Madra Salach announce UK headline tour
The tour follows the success of the band's debut EP It's a Hell of an Age, which reached No. 3 on the Irish Albums Chart in January.
Madra Salach have announced an upcoming autumn headline tour of the UK. The Irish six-piece will embark on an 11-show tour this September and October, starting in Exeter and wrapping up at London's Electric Ballroom.
It comes at the heels of their sold-out February Ireland tour and their current UK headline tour, which wraps up at The Dome in London this Thursday, March 26.
Things are on the up-and-up for the alt-folk band, who recently signed to Island Records. Their debut EP It's a Hell of an Age reached No. 3 on the Irish Album Charts and made it into the Top 10 of the UK Official Independent Albums Chart upon its release in January.
Songs like 'Blue & Gold' and 'The Man Who Seeks Pleasure' have helped Madra Salach cement themselves as one of Ireland's most exciting new acts.
The band are set to appear on 20th Century Paddy - The Songs of Shane MacGowan, a tribute album featuring Jessie Buckley, Hozier, and Bruce Springsteen, among others. The album will release Friday, November 13 via Victoria Mary Clarke and Rubyworks.
Ahead of a string of festival appearances this summer, Madra Salach will play Dublin's Workmans Club this April. Tickets are available now.
