Dropkick Murphys have released the new single ‘The Body of an American’, hailing from the upcoming Shane McGowan tribute album 20th Century Paddy - The Songs of Shane MacGowan.
Originally written by Shane MacGowan for The Pogues, ‘The Body of an American’ was described by frontman Ken Casey as “a Dropkick all time favorite,” adding that the band had “played it live throughout the years, so to get to record it for this tribute was a dream come true.”
