Maceo Parker to play TBMC
The former James Brown All-Star makes his first solo visit to Dublin
The Temple Bar Music Centre is the place to be on April 24 when saxman Maceo Parker pays his first solo visit to Dublin.
A member of the legendary James Brown All-Stars, the American has also parped with the Parliament/Funkadelic posse, Ani DiFranco, Prince, De La Soul, Jane's Addiction and the Dave Matthews Band.
The missing link between jazz, funk and hip hop, his Dial M.A.C.E.O. album rates as one of the year's essential purchases.
