THE MAGNIFICENTLY MONIKERED Hypno Sex Rays play their first Irish gig on August 23rd at The Pine Lodge, Myrtleville.
Purveyors of “spaghetti western surf punk”, the trio consists of ex-Freeze guitarist/singer Joe Koonz, former Fival bassist Tristan Jeanneau, and Morty McCarthy who used to take care of drumming duties for The Sultans of Ping.
Currently residing in Scandinavia, the band will be treating the home-ish crowd to a sneak preview of their debut album.

Also upcoming at the venue are ex-Speranza man Danny Guinan (September 8th); Adrian Byron Burns (14th); Obi Hunter (15th); Carl Wyatt Jump Blues (22nd); Martin Stephenson & The Daintees (24th); and The Artists Formerly Known As Cuckoo, Jetplane Landing (October 6th).
