LISTEN: Rory Nellis premieres new single 'All I Ever Wanted Was A Chance'
The Belfast singer adds another notch to his belt ahead of the release of his forthcoming album There Are Enough Songs In The World.
Sounding like it could easily have been plucked from a Pink Floyd rock opera and given a modern era redressing - complete with a Belfast accent - Nellis' newest single builds from a simple piano melody to a beautiful synth crescendo.
World-weariness and disillusion with the deluge of modern society have characterised what we've heard from Nellis' new album thus far. We're looking forward to everything else that he has in store for us when his album gets its November release.
Rory will play in Lavery's back bar this Thursday evening, with support from Philip Watts d'Alton. Admission is free. See Rory Nellis' Facebook for more details.
