Listen: Costello's debut solo album
Illosophical is produced by GI.
Having provided Music Show-goers with a fascinating workshop on production in the RDS last Saturday, you can hear some new sounds from Dublin-based hip hop producer GI right now. He's worked with homegrown rapper Costello on the talented emcee's debut album.
Produced by GI, mixed and mastered by Jonnyboy, listen to Costello's first full-length Illosophical below.
The official album launch will take place in Dublin's Twisted Pepper on March 15 and will feature support from GI, Lethal Dialect, William Lee and DJ Moschops. Tickets cost €7.
It's a busy week for the WorkinClassRecords roster – they support Maverick Sabre on his sold-out Academy show tomorrow evening and are on the line-up for The Rubberbandits' show in the same Dublin venue on Thursday. A few tickets still remain for the Limerick lads' date.
