Laundry Day announce Dublin show
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, February 26.
American pop rock band Laundry Day have announced a Dublin show, set to take place at Academy 2 on May 17.
The group, consisting of vocalist Jude Ciulla-Lipkin, drummer Sawyer Nunes, guitarist Henry Weingartner, and bassist Henry Pearl, formed in New York in 2017.
They released their debut album, Trumpet Boy, in March 2018 via their independent label Polo and Fomo. Since then, they have shared a total of six records, including the latest, EARWORM.
They had their breakthrough in 2019, when they performed at Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in October, and opened for the likes of The 1975 and Clairo.
In 2022, the band signed to Warner Records, releasing albums like We Switched Bodies and Younger Than I Was Before. Two years later, they played as the opening act for Teezo Touchdown and Ed Sheeran.
Laundry Day are currently touring North America. They performed in Minneapolis earlier this month, donating 100% of the ticket profits to the local social justice organisation Unidos MN, who advocate for immigration rights, healthcare, and worker justice.
Last week, the band released a cover of 'Carry On' by Fun., in collaboration with the suicide prevention organisation Sounds of Saving and the 988 lifeline.
Tickets for their Dublin show will go on sale this Thursday, February 26 here.
