Landmark Blur exhibition comes to Dublin
Over 70 images of the band taken by some of the world's most revered music photographers and graphic designers will be on display in Kilmainham at the end of this month...
The Irish Museum of Modern Art in Kilmainham will house Blur 21: The Exhibition from 26 July onwards.
Photographs from the likes of Pennie Smith, Kevin Cummins, Paul Postle will adorn the exhibition. Also, artworks from figures such as Bansky and Julian Opie will be on display.
Blur exploded into Britain's (and Ireland's) consciousness during the hedonistic and optimism-drenched Britpop era in the mid-1990s.
The iconic, London quartet (Albarn, Coxon, James, and Rowntree) have always been avid and adventurous 'collaborators' with other artists.
Now they have teamed up with some of the more world's more renowned photographers and graphic artists to produce this collection.
The exhibition runs from 26 July - 1 August. Entry is free.
