Ke$ha to headline Dublin and Belfast SummerJam
02 and Odyssey both play host to Europe's biggest Urban Pop Event
Parents, lock up your kids! Sleaze-pop auteur Ke$ha is bringing her glitter-trash antics to these shores, headlining the Ireland's first SummerJam fest. The event, taking place at the 02, Dublin on June 28 and the Odyssey, Belfast on June 29 also features Roc Nation signing Alexis Jordan and LMFAO, currently riding high on the charts here and the UK with their latest 'Party Rock Anthem'. With more acts to be announced, it promises to be the perfect post-Leaving Cert event. (Cue: outrage on Joe Duffy and the like about booze-fuelled kids puking into the Liffey).
Like or her (more likely) loathe her Ke$ha has become a proper international superstar since 2009's 'Tik Tok', garnering Number 1's on both sides of the Atlantic in the last 3 months, soundtracking the opening credits of The Simpsons and being featured on Glee.
Tickets for both dates are on sale this Saturday April 23 and are priced at €39.50 here and £36 for the Belfast date. The event is an all ages event with under 16’s accompanied by an adult.
