Múscailte will be his seventh album. The musician, inspired by the Japanese concept of Kankyō Ongaku, ambient music, and composer Satoshi Ashikawa, released his first album in 2018.
As well as producing solo work, Redmond is part of band Throwing Shapes alongside composer and producer Ross Chaney and harpist Méabh McKenna. The trio released their self-titled debut album on September 5.
Redmond also revealed that there will be a 250 limited edition vinyl pressing of Múscailte, available to preorder here.
