James Chance & The Contortions coming to Dublin

Part of the same late-'70s avant-punk scene as Judy Nylon, Suicide, Swans and The Static, they're set to play The Sugar Club on October 2.

Chance recently completed a 15-date comeback tour, which had the critics dreaming up new superlatives.

Also Sugar Club-bound (on September 22) is Patrick Watson, the Canadian singer-songwriter who’s been favourably compared to the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Jeff Buckley.
