Irish stars come out to see Beyoncé strut her stuff
hotpress.com brings you the gossip from Beyoncé's brilliant Point performance
With hotpress.com's collective glutious maximus still in a state recovery after last night’s booty-shaking festivities at the Point, we can only hazard a guess that Ronan Keating and certain U2 bandmembers and are in a similar state, having been spotted in attendance at Beyoncé’s dazzling show.
Having played to sold-out Dublin crowds on both nights of the weekend, Beyoncé wowed fans and celebs alike with a set that took in everything from Destiny’s Child and Michael Jackson to that most bootylicious tune that won her Best Song at the recent MTV Europe Music Awards, 'Crazy In Love'.
"With her troupe of dancers, five-piece band and DJ compare-cum-turntablist, Beyoncé’s performance occupied every cubed inch of the stage," writes Hot Press’ Danielle Brigham. "Between five costume changes, glitter showers and a particularly lovely canary swing, it was a truly spectacular night’s entertainment."
Meantime, it remains unknown to the teenage masses where the diva shook her post-show thang, with Sony and Aiken Promotions accusing The Temple Bar Music Centre of deceiving fans with last week's advertisements for "The Official Beyoncé Aftershow Party". Promotional material for the event, which was later renamed "The Beyoncé Aftershow Party Aftershow Party" was later amended to include "Beyoncé will NOT be appearing at the event".
