Irish chefs confirmed for Alex James' new food 'n roll festival!
Richard Corrigan and Rachel Allen will be among the guests at the former Blur star's 'Harvest' event
Ex-Blur bassist Alex James took a turn for the wholesome following the band's split in 2003. And now the most unlikely of cheese makers has announced a food and music festival on his farm in Oxfordshire at the end of the Summer.
The festival, says James, incorporates his family's favourite things - "food, the farm and music. What more could we ask for!" Set to take place from September 9 - 12, it will feature a host of big names from both the rock 'n roll and er, culinary worlds!
Among those confirmed so far are KT Tunstall, Richard Corrigan, Mark Hix, Rachel Allen, Yotam Ottolenghi, Jay Rayner, Monty & Sarah Don and Stevie Parle, with more to be announced in March.
There will also be cookery master classes, exclusive pop up restaurants, gardening workshops, farmers market and a children's field.
