Indie Summer festival launched for July

Indie Summer will run in the Leitrim town of Carrick-on-Shannon from July 19-22, with over 40 independent bands and singer/songwriters taking part.
Vesta Varro, The Aftermath, Daves Radio and the Dirty Epics all play the four-day festival, and admission is free.
And besides full band gigs, there will also be buskers, evening acoustic sessions and open mic nights.

Indie Summer is organised by downloadmusic.ie, an IRMA-recognised site where fans’ mp3 downloads count towards chart sales. The site features over 10,000 songs that you can download using your mobile phone to pay.
