IMRO to host 'Stories Behind The Songs'
IMRO has announced a special live event in February that will feature intimate performances by three of the 'greats' of international songwriting.
Successful Nashville songwriters Don Schlitz, Pat Alger and Ralph Murphy will all take to the stage and perform some of their biggest hits as well as sharing stories about the inspiration behind their songs and the performers that made them famous.
The showcase will also feature a guest appearance by Ruth-Anne Cunningham, one of Ireland's rising hit writers and the recipient of the 'Best Pop' gong at the 2007 ASCAP songwriting awards.
It all happens on Monday February 18 in the Green Room of the Holiday Inn on Pearse St., Dublin 2. Doors are at 7:30pm and tickets cost €10. Places can be reserved by emailing [email protected]
