Former Stranglers frontman Hugh Cornwell will be playing a special instore gig in Tower Records, Dublin next week.
The Wicklow Street branch of Tower Records will next week host Mr Hugh Cornwell at a special instore gig.
Hugh will be performing on November 15 at 2pm, in support of his new album Hooverdam, which is released on CD/DVD digipak and 12" vinyl, and also available as a free download from www.hooverdamdownload.com.
Following 17 years with The Stranglers, during which they enjoyed hits like 'Peaches', 'No More Heroes', and 'Golden Brown', Cornwell has had considerable success as a solo artist, releasing seven albums since 1988's Wolf.
He has also recently in Ireland to launch the JD Set competition, which offers unsigned bands the chance to play live in some of Ireland’s best venues, and win studio time and advice from top industry professionals. Hugh will also judge the final, held in Dublin next April.

Fans are advised to come early for the Tower instore, as organisers expect a crowd.
