Horace Andy and Mad Professor celebrate the release of their new album with live dates in Dublin and Cork
Two dub-reggae legends for the price of one is the deal this month when Horace Andy and Mad Professor go head to head in Cork and Dublin.
Tickets for the gigs - November 19 at The Vaults, Cork and November 20 at The Village, Dublin - are on sale now from the usual outlets nationwide.
The live dates coincide with the release of From The Roots, a new album produced by the Mad Professor and featuring the unique vocal stylings of Horace Andy.
Widely regarded as the King Midas of dub production, the Mad Professor became a household name in 1995 with the release of his Massive Attack remix album - and masterpiece in its own right - No Protection. He last appeared in Dublin alongside Lee Scratch Perry for an unforgettable St. Patrick's Day 2003.

Horace Andy returns to Dublin after two sell-out shows in April - at which time the introduction of the smoking ban proved a particularly novel experience. "I've been singing for thirty years and this is the first time I don't smoke a spliff onstage," he told his adoring (and largely sympathetic) audience.
