Henrietta Game win the Limerick heat of JD Set
The Dublin folk-alt band beat off stiff competition and will now join Saccade and Lady Doll in the grand final on April 29
Henrietta Game came up tops at Heat 3 of the JD Set in Dolan's Warehouse, Limerick. Facing tough competition in the form of Redtwelve, Macrogrizzly and Liz Is Evil, the band, says HP's Jackie Hayden, "were clearly playing outside the box."
"With influences that mix classical with folk and elements of Julie Feeney, Sigur Rose and Sufjan Stevens, they're way beyond the rock-by-numbers game." (Read the full review in the new issue of Hot Press, out tomorrow).

The final heat will take place at The Roisin Dubh, Galway (March 26) where Sanzkrit, Go Panda Go, Tupelo and The Coonics will battle it out for a place in the final.
