Headgear announces tour dates
Daragh Dukes, aka Headgear, has announced a mini-tour in support of his new single.
He'll play Cyprus Avenue in Cork on September 30, Crawdaddy in Dublin on October 3, Radar in Belfast on October 4, Dolan's in Limerick on October 6 and Roisin Dubh in Galway on October 8.
'Harry Truman', out September 28, is the second single to be taken from the Limerick-based singer-songwriter's debut album Flight Cases. It takes its inspiration not from the former US President, but from a stubborn 83-year-old who refused to leave his cabin on the slopes of the volcano Mount St. Helens when it erupted in 1980.
The single release also includes a remix by Ali Staton who has worked with the likes of Razorlight, Rufus Wainwright, dEUS, Lamb and Marianne Faithful.
