Go West, young man in trailer for Sundance hit Slow West
The highly acclaimed Sundance premier gets a trailer and release info
This year's Sundance Film Festival saw the release of a tremendous amount of lauded independent films, and now one that rests at the top of that impressive barrel has a trailer.
Slow West won the wordy World Cinema Grand Dramatic Jury Prize at this year's festival. The film tells the story of a young traveler, played by Kodi Smit-McPhee, in the American wild west in search of his love. He is soon taken under the wing of a stranger, played by Michael Fassbender, who accompanies him on his quest for mysterious reasons.
The trailer offers a quick, vague peek at what looks to be a visually arresting, left-field odd sort of Western thriller. It will have a limited release in the US on May 15 but hits iTunes on the same date. Have a look at the trailer below and keep an eye out!
