James and The Coronas announced for Saturday of Forest Fest
Find ticket information below.
English alternative-rock group James have been announced as the Saturday headliner for next summer's Forest Fest.
Known for tracks such as their 1993 hit 'Laid' which trended on social media this year, and fresh off their recent US tour, James are one of the 23 new acts added to the festival lineup today. Other names added to the bill include The Coronas, The Undertones, HamsandwicH, Kerbdog and more.
“I’m really thrilled with this line-up reveal–I’m particularly thrilled to be welcoming back to the festival, James," said Forest Fest founder Philip Meagher. "I saw their performance at the Isle of Wight Festival this summer and they just seem to be getting better and better; as far as I’m concerned they’re one of the top 10 live acts in the world at the moment so we’re absolutely honoured to have them as part of our line up this year.”
The boutique music and arts festival, which is set to take place from July 24-26 in Emo, County Laois, will also feature 80s new wave group Echo and the Bunnymen as the Friday headliners, and ska band Madness as the Sunday headliners. This will be the festivals first year at Bee's Wing farm, a layout adjustment made to improve facilities after feedback for better comfort and walkability.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
