MayKay has announced Ailbhe Reddy and Steve ón‘dings as support for her Whelan's gig on Thursday, December 18.
The Whelan’s show will mark her first full headline performance as a solo artist in Dublin and is expected to feature material from across her self-titled debut solo album, which was released in October.
Ailbhe Reddy is a singer-songwriter from Dublin whose debut album, Personal History, earned her a Choice Music Prize nomination.
The singer's sophomore album Endless Affair earned a 9/10 rating from Hot Press.
Her third studio album, Kiss Big, is set for release on January 30, 2026. The album is said to discuss endings, beginnings and all the chaotic beauty in between.
“It’s about the aftershock of a breakup,” Reddy explains. “That liminal space where you’re equal parts sad, hopeful, terrified and probably a bit delusional.”
Steve ón‘dings is a songwriter, guitar player, educator and a founding member of the bands Giveamanakick and Windings.
The musician has also collaborated with the Rusangano Family, Denise Chaila and Naive Ted, among others. He is currently the course director of the MA in songwriting in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick.
Steve ón‘dings is set to release his debut solo song collection, Ordinary Sadness, in 2026.
Remaining tickets for the Whelan's gig can be purchased on Ticketmaster.ie.
