Gardaí prepare to dig at former Eamon Cooke transmitter site
The search for missing schoolboy Philip Cairns appears to be intensifying
Reports are suggesting that the Gardaí are preparing to dig up a field on the Tallaght side of the Dublin Mountains, which was owned by serial paedophile Eamon Cooke and formerly used as a Radio Dublin transmitter site.
Eyewitnesses claim seeing Cooke using a digger to bury a container in the remote field during the ‘80s.
Gardaí have been investigating possible links between Cooke, who died this month whilst compassionate leave from hospital, and missing schoolboy Philip Cairns.
Hot Press yesterday revealed the connection between Cooke and Jimmy Saville who visited Radio Dublin on at least one occasion:
