Galway Arts Festival's music events announced

Bernard Butler takes time out from renewing his alliance with Brett Anderson to play a special gig with folk legend Bert Jansch at this year’s Galway Arts Festival.

Yup, you can witness this historical meeting of musical generations at the Radisson Hotel on July 22.

In another inspired piece of programming, The Saw Doctors and the band who inspired them to take up guitars, The Undertones, join forces at The Warwick from July 23 to 25.

Add in Scullion (15 @ Roisin Dubh); (Bob Geldof (17 @ The Radisson); Beth Nielsen Chapman (19 @ Roisin Dubh); The Jimmy Cake (23 @ Roisin Dubh); and David Byrne (26 @ The Radisson) and you’re talking about one hell of a musical line-up.
