A fundraising event is to be held for the people arrested in connection with minor charges arising out of Saturday’s protest marchs

A support gig is to be held downstairs in the Tap pub, Church Street (Smithfield) on Friday, May 14. It will feature members of The Revs, Walter and Nigerian Samba, with rumours of a number of 'musically-minded' special guests popping in to make an appearance.

The gig begins at 8 and admission is €2.
