Hailing from Washington DC, McKaye forms the baritone guitar/vocals half of the duo, the other position being filled by drummer/vocalist Amy Farina (The Warmers). But think ye not of the White Stripes - we are assured that this couple "who play stripped down, almost folk-like, variations of the rock song".
