Cult Californians Oxbow fly in for a July 17 headliner at Whelan's.

Reckoned to be "the greatest art rock band in the world", the quartet have collaborated with such heavy hitters as Lydia Lunch, Klaus Fluoride, Sonic Youth and Wicklow resident Marianne Faithfull.

Support is provided by Easpa Measa and the band who've risen Phoenix-like from the ashes of Gout, Tophi.
