Free Blur download
'Fool's Day' is available now from their website.
Nice fellows that they are, Blur have made their Record Store Day celebrating 7”, ‘Fool’s Day’, available as a free [link]www.blur.co.uk [/link] download.
"To avoid fans having to illegally obtain an inferior copy of this track from pirate sites, we have made it freely available through the band’s website,” says manager Chris Morrison.
Only 1,000 copies of the single – the first song the four members have recorded together since ‘Battery In Your Leg’ from 2003’s Think Tank album – were pressed and put into shops on April 17.
Needless to say, demand far, far outstripped supply with ‘Fool’s Day’ now changing hands for insane amounts of money on the ‘net.
