In this episode, Paul Nolan is joined Donny Keane to discuss Holly Johnson's Pleasuredome anniversary show in Dublin this month, as well as the visionary production from Trevor Horn on both Welcome To The Pleasuredome and Introspective.
They also explore Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s cult classic 'Relax' and its iconic video, their controversial image in the '80s pop industry , and the way they bbrought gay and queer aesthetic into the mainstream.
Moving on to the Pet Shop Boys, the duo talk about the group getting influenced by New York club culture, their incredible impact on the pop landscape to this day and their visionary approach to songwriting
To round up the episode, Nolan brings back an interview with Arthur Baker where they discuss his time in the New York club scene and his work with the Pet Shop Boys.
