Fourth Dublin Electronic Arts Festival in October
Put that guitar away and plug your laptop in, as Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) rears its head on the October bank holiday weekend.
With a line-up that stretches right across its remit, the fourth festival has drawn in some of the biggest international and domestic acts, including Goldie, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Roger Doyle & General Practice and Kool Keith. But with over 150 acts from 10 different countries playing 23 different venues across Dublin, they’re just the tip of the iceberg. The weekend will also see the premiere of When I Sold My Soul To The Machine, a film about the electronic scene in The Hague in the 1990s, plus all manner of dance-related activities.
The event kicks off on October 7 with a launch party at the Sugar Club, but the festival proper runs from October 26 – 31.
