Flogging Molly to raise hell at Olympia
Irish-American punk band also release new album next month
Irish-American celtic punk band Flogging Molly have announced a date at the Olympia Theatre at the end of the summer, playing the venue on August 24. Expect high energy, pounding enthusiasm and a swelling of Irish pride as the seven-piece return to play here for the first time since 2008's Amabassador headliner.
The band are also planning to return with a new album next month. Speed of Darkness will attempt to improve on 2008's Float which went Top 5 in the band's American homeland. The album was recorded in an old church building in North Carolina.
