Flogging Molly to raise hell at Olympia
Irish-American punk band also release new album next month
Irish-American celtic punk band Flogging Molly have announced a date at the Olympia Theatre at the end of the summer, playing the venue on August 24. Expect high energy, pounding enthusiasm and a swelling of Irish pride as the seven-piece return to play here for the first time since 2008's Amabassador headliner.
The band are also planning to return with a new album next month. Speed of Darkness will attempt to improve on 2008's Float which went Top 5 in the band's American homeland. The album was recorded in an old church building in North Carolina.
Tickets for the Olympia gig are on sale from this Thursday April 21, priced at €26 including booking fee.
